Longboards for girls for skating around the neighbourhood, campus, or just for fun

Skating is for everyone, and it’s the perfect way to get around when you have a board you love riding. We’ve collaborated with some of our favourite artists to create cute longboards (and completes and cruisers) that we love. Our Sirena Longboard features artwork and design styling created in collaboration with Easty Beasty. And our Jupiter Longboard features artwork by the Florida-based Surfy Birdy. Follow the links on each to find out more!

What difference between skateboard and longboard?

The main difference between a skateboard and a longboard is the board size.

Longboards are usually longer than skateboards, with a size from 34“ to 59”.

Impala’s longboards are 34” or 37” long. Skateboards are usually shorter, between 20” and 31”.

Made for speed and stability, longboards require a longer board and larger wheels and trucks. Skateboards are made for maneuverability and tricks.

NB: Longboard is not only for girls, it’s a gender-free sport !

How to choose a longboard?

You can choose a longboard according to these 2 parameters:

The use

There are many ways to practice longboarding: speed, freestyle dancing, riding… your call! You just need to choose the right board size, wheels and board shape depending on the practice you want to do. Don’t forget protections.

The Budget

A high-quality longboard means a higher budget. Higher technologies bring better riding sensations but require investing more into it. It depends on what use you’ll have with your longboard and your level of practice.

Don’t hesitate to contact us for more information about our products. We are here to help you the best way.

Sustainable and cute longboards for girls

Throughout all stages of the design and production of our longboards, we are mindful of the materials and the manufacturing processes that we use. Our Sirena Longboard features a bamboo deck construction – a durable and hardwearing sustainable material that makes for a smooth and stable ride. We’ve also partnered with the National Forest Foundation to donate to their tree-planting program – planting three trees for every one tree we harvest in the making of our skateboards.
